Bio

Born in Germany, Sophie Heuschkel is currently attending Berklee College of Music with a focus on Contemporary Writing and Production Major. The 19-year old bilingual singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist writes indie-pop songs that focus on his experience as a queer person. They advocate the importance of acceptance to the diverse culture that surrounds us with his emotional, deep and authentic lyricism. Sophie started releasing their music at the age of 14 and played their first concert in 2022. Since, they have played national and international stages such as: the Cavern Pub in Liverpool, cologne pride - the largest pride parade of Europe-, and as a winner of the National German Songwriter Competition “Treffen junge Musik-Szene“ in Berlin. Most recently, Sophie was awarded the Best New Artist Award by the Berklee College of Music. The songwriter released his debut album "Rainbow" in the summer of 2023. They are currently working on his second album "The smell of growing old”, and is excited to keep creating.
